The Robusters work hard to keep membership costs low so that any woman who wants to give dragon boating a try can do so without investing a lot of money. Our team provides all the equipment, coaching, festival fees and carpooling options to get to Christina Lake for practices, making it easy to take part.
In order to cover fixed costs, we sell our popular calendars filled with local scenes captured by talented photographers in the area. As well, a raffle takes place every December with great prizes donated by members and local businesses. Recently, the team has also been invited to help out the Legion branches in Trail and Castlegar by selling tickets for their famous meat draws. We appreciate all the support we receive from everyone who helps us out.
