Paddles Up!
The Kootenay Robusters Dragon Boat team launched the boat
for the first time this paddling season on May 26 into the still
chilly waters of Christina Lake. The team, which includes members from
the Boundary, Trail, Castlegar and Rossland areas, is still accepting
new members for the 2024 race season. The Kootenay Robusters is a
non-profit organization for breast cancer survivors and associates to
experience physical, emotional, spiritual and mental wellness at a
level that they find comfortable and personally challenging.
