Gay, Mandi and Elysia represented the Robusters at the Royal Canadian Legion – Branch 11 in Trail to receive a cheque for assisting with their meat draws. We always have a blast at the Trail Legion, where a group of friendly regulars buy tickets for a chance to take home a good steak or chicken for dinner.
Once a year the Legion rewards all the local non-profits who help them out by sharing the proceeds of these sociable afternoons. Our portion of the money will go a long way towards much needed repairs around the shed steps, and a fund to replace our aging dragon boat. Thanks, Legion members.
